Who we are
AI AML was founded in September 2024 by Tomas Pelikan and Reinis Sietins. The last time both founders collaborated was in 2017. After Reinis exited his previous company, they decided to join forces in a field where they identified significant challenges and opportunities for improvement - AML and compliance.
Tomas holds a law degree from Charles University in Prague and brings extensive experience from various legal projects gained while running his own law firm, as well as working at the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic and Skoda Auto. Reinis holds a BS in Political Science, an LLM in Transborder Commercial Law from the Riga Graduate School of Law, and a CAMS certification. Since 2011, he has worked for multiple international professional and financial services companies in roles such as CEO, Senior AML Consultant, and Senior Legal Consultant.
We firmly believe that together, we are uniquely positioned to help businesses streamline their compliance processes and achieve regulatory excellence.
The mission of AI AML
Our mission is to simplify compliance for both regulated and non-regulated companies that must adhere to regional and local AML regulations. Drawing on their firsthand experience working in various financial institutions, our founders understand the complexities that AML compliance entails. We believe that regulatory requirements will only become more stringent in the future. Therefore, AI AML is committed to helping businesses navigate AML and compliance matters, allowing them to concentrate on their core business development and growth.

As our name suggests, AI AML is committed to integrating innovative AI solutions into the AML industry. While we recognize that not every business requires AI, we believe the AML sector will significantly benefit from its advancements. In addition to the services listed above, we are actively developing a platform designed to empower our users with a range of powerful features, including:
Automatic document updates and suggestions.
Document generation tools (innovative KYC, KYB, customer questionnaires, and more).
A platform for monitoring and reviewing customers.
